  1. Basmati chaval- 2 Cup (250 Gram)
  2. Milk- 100 Gram
  3. Saffron- 8-10 Grains
  4. Ghee- 50 Gram
  5. Cinnamon- 1 Inch
  6. Cloves- 2 Numbers
  7. Star Anise- 1 Number
  8. almond- 8-10 Numbers
  9. Cashew- 10-15 Numbers
  10. Raisin- 15-20 Numbers
  11. Onion sliced- 1 Number
  12. Pineapple- 1/2 Cup
  13. Pomegranate- 1/2 Cup
  14. Chaat masala- 1/2 Tea Spoon
  15. Salt- 1/2 Tea Spoon or As per Your Choice

How to make Kashmiri Pulao:-

  • First of all wash the rice and sieve it.
  • Then add saffron in a little milk and mix it.
  • Now put the cooker on the gas and put some ghee in it.
  • Then put cinnamon, long and star anise in it and cook it for a while.
  • Then put rice in it and fry it for 1-2 minutes.
  • Then put saffron milk in it.
  • Then add the remaining milk as well.
  • Then also add 1/2 glass of water to it and mix it (to cook the rice well).
  • Then apply its whistle and let it start for one whistle and then turn off the gas.
  • Till then put a little ghee on the other side and fry almonds and cashews in it till golden bone.
  • Then fry the raisins in the same way.
  • Then fry the onion in the remaining ghee as well.
  • When the onion turns red after frying, take it out and turn off the gas.
  • And here you can see how well our rice is cooked, so now mix it once.
  • Then add pineapple, pomegranate and roasted dry fruits to it.
  • Then put some salt and chaat masala in it.
